First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding thinking tasks (dual-task training) to balance exercises helps stroke survivors improve their balance and thinking skills. 33 adults who had a stroke and had trouble with balance and memory took part. They did 40-minute sessions, 3 times a week for 6 weeks. The goal was to see if this combined approach works better than balance training alone.
