First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at how a skin treatment for mothers before childbirth might change the amount of Staph aureus bacteria on their skin and how it spreads to their newborns. Only one participant was involved, and researchers also asked about interest and willingness to use the treatment. The goal was to learn more about bacteria transmission and whether mothers would accept this approach.
