Can a back crack and Self-Care stop chronic pain?
NCT ID NCT03581123
Summary
This study tested if a combination of spinal manipulation (like chiropractic adjustment) and guided self-care coaching could prevent a recent, painful back flare-up from turning into long-term, disabling chronic pain. It involved 1,000 adults at risk for chronic pain and compared this approach to standard medical care over eight weeks of treatment, with follow-up for a full year.
