Summary

This study looks at why some people have more pain than others after colorectal surgery. Researchers will test pain responses, check blood for inflammation, and ask about emotional health and life stress. The goal is to find better ways to manage pain for each patient. About 128 adults scheduled for colorectal cancer surgery will take part.
