Summary
This study aimed to see if the drugs azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine could prevent hospital workers from catching COVID-19. About 122 workers who tested negative for the virus were given either one of the drugs or a placebo for 40 days. The main goal was to see if fewer people in the drug groups got infected compared to the placebo group.
