New Weight-Loss drug candidate tested in diabetes patients

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called AZD6234 to see if it helps people with type 2 diabetes and overweight or obesity lose more weight when added to their current stable GLP-1 medication. About 69 adults will receive either AZD6234 or a placebo for 26 weeks. The main goal is to measure weight loss and check for safety and side effects.
