Heart failure drug test halted early in small kidney study

NCT ID NCT06611423

Summary

This early-stage study aimed to see if a single dose of an experimental drug, AZD3427, could improve blood flow to the kidneys in people who have both heart failure and reduced kidney function. Researchers used special PET scans to measure blood flow in the kidneys before and after treatment. The study was terminated early and only enrolled 10 participants.
