Summary

This study tested whether adding an experimental drug called AZD1775 to standard chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel) could help control advanced squamous cell lung cancer. It involved 42 adults whose cancer had spread and had no known curative options. The main goal was to see if this combination could delay cancer progression and was safe for patients.
