Experimental combo targets Hard-to-Treat cancers
NCT ID NCT02617277
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This early-phase study tested the safety of combining two drugs—AZD1775 (a pill) and durvalumab (an IV infusion)—in 56 adults with advanced solid tumours that had stopped responding to standard treatments. The goal was to find safe doses and watch for side effects. While not a cure, the approach aims to control tumour growth in people with few other options.
