Early test of new pill aims to zap bad cholesterol
NCT ID NCT07423598
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new oral drug called AZD0780 to see if it is safe and can lower 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) levels. It will involve about 40 healthy adults who already have higher-than-ideal cholesterol. Participants will take either the drug or a placebo (a dummy pill) daily for 28 days so researchers can measure cholesterol changes and monitor for side effects.
