New drug shows promise for lowering blood pressure in heart patients

Summary
This study tested a new drug called AZD0780 to see if it can lower blood pressure in people with heart disease or related risks who also have high cholesterol. About 202 adults took part, and they received either the drug or a placebo for 4 weeks. The main goal was to measure changes in average blood pressure over 24 hours.
