Summary
This study tested whether an experimental drug called AZD0780 could lower blood pressure in people with heart disease or high risk for it. Researchers measured blood pressure changes over 24 hours in 202 adults who already had high cholesterol. Participants took either the drug or a placebo for about a month while continuing their regular medications.
