New hope for melanoma patients who failed standard treatment
NCT ID NCT04996823
Summary
This study is testing whether combining two existing drugs, axitinib and ipilimumab, can help control advanced melanoma in patients whose cancer didn't respond to previous immunotherapy. The trial will enroll 25 adults with advanced melanoma who have already tried anti-PD-1/PD-L1 treatments without success. Researchers will measure how many patients' tumors shrink and how long the treatment keeps the cancer from growing.
