First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special ultrasound technique can accurately detect remaining cancer in the lymph nodes of breast cancer patients after they've completed chemotherapy. About 97 women who had cancer spread to their lymph nodes before treatment will be tested during surgery. The goal is to see if this method can help doctors decide which patients need more or less lymph node removal, potentially reducing side effects.
