Can avocados and mangos fight prediabetes? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05353790
Summary
This study tested whether eating one avocado and one cup of mango daily for 8 weeks could improve blood vessel health and brain function in 82 adults with prediabetes. Researchers compared this diet to a control diet with similar calories but different nutrients. They measured blood vessel flexibility, eye health, and performed memory and thinking tests to see if the fruits made a difference.
