Ear-Zap device could help hearts and blood sugar after spinal injury

Summary
This small study tests whether a device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear (called auricular vagus nerve stimulation) is safe for people with chronic spinal cord injury. Sixteen participants will receive the stimulation and be monitored for side effects, as well as changes in heart health and blood sugar. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive approach can improve health outcomes in this population.
