First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether getting real-time feedback from a virtual trainer avatar during virtual reality exercise makes people feel better and move more accurately. 28 healthy adults did three short VR workout sessions with different types of feedback (none, verbal only, or verbal plus gestures). The goal was to see which feedback style improved the exercise experience and how well people copied the trainer's movements.
