Can giving Parkinson's patients a choice boost their Brain's ability to learn?

NCT ID NCT05960331

Summary

This study is investigating whether giving people with Parkinson's disease more control over their practice can help them learn new movements better. Researchers will have participants learn a finger-tapping task on a computer, with one group choosing when they get feedback and another group receiving it automatically. The goal is to see if having this choice leads to better skill retention, more motivation, and positive changes in brain activity.
