New study tests automated video coaching to help HIV patients quit smoking

Summary

This study compares an automated video-based smoking cessation program to standard treatment for people living with HIV. The goal is to see if the automated approach leads to more long-term quit rates. 638 participants who smoke at least 5 cigarettes daily and are willing to quit within a week are enrolled.
