Robot ultrasound could watch brain injuries around the clock

Summary

This study is testing whether a robotic ultrasound device can safely and effectively monitor blood flow in the brains of people with severe traumatic brain injury. The device is designed to work automatically for long periods, even in hospitals with little ultrasound experience. Researchers will check for patient discomfort, skin changes, and whether the device stays in place and provides useful readings.
