Robot pancreas trial for dialysis patients
NCT ID NCT07422532
Summary
This study is testing if an automated insulin delivery system can help people with type 2 diabetes who are on kidney dialysis. The system uses a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump to automatically adjust insulin, aiming to keep blood sugar in a safe range. Researchers will compare this automated system to usual care in 84 participants over 12 weeks to see if it improves glucose control and quality of life.
