Lung scan showdown: testing automated tools for ILD measurement
NCT ID NCT06743022
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study aims to see if automated computer tools can consistently measure the amount of lung damage caused by interstitial lung disease (ILD) on chest CT scans. Researchers will enroll 150 adults with ILD and repeat their CT scans to check how much the measurements vary between scans and between different software tools. The goal is to improve the accuracy of these automated measurements, which are important for predicting disease progression.
