Could your immune system be causing your memory loss? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06321588
Summary
This study aims to understand how often certain immune system antibodies are found in people with new memory problems and whether these antibodies play a role in causing or worsening dementia. Researchers will follow 300 adults aged 40-90 with recent cognitive decline to measure antibodies and track changes in brain health over one year. The goal is to identify patients who might benefit from immune-based treatments.
