Smart oxygen device could free patients from constant monitoring
NCT ID NCT07222592
Summary
This study is testing a new automatic oxygen delivery device called MoblO2 for people with COPD or interstitial lung disease who need oxygen during activity. The device uses a pulse oximeter to automatically adjust oxygen flow to keep blood oxygen at safe levels, aiming to reduce the burden of constant monitoring. Researchers will measure whether using this device helps people be more physically active and improves their quality of life compared to their usual oxygen equipment.
