Summary
This study tests a minimally invasive procedure called atherectomy to remove plaque from blocked leg arteries in 60 people with severe peripheral artery disease. The goal is to see if this approach can restore blood flow better than standard balloon angioplasty. Participants must have a new or recurring blockage in the thigh or knee artery and cannot have had prior bypass surgery or certain other treatments.
