Hope for seniors: immunotherapy combo tested in advanced lung cancer

Summary
This study looks at whether adding the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab to standard chemotherapy helps elderly patients (70+) with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer live longer. About 510 participants will receive either chemo alone or chemo plus atezolizumab. The goal is to see if this combination is both effective and safe for older adults, who are often underrepresented in cancer trials.
