Summary
This study looks at adding the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab to standard chemotherapy (gemcitabine and cisplatin) for people with advanced or metastatic bladder cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Researchers want to see if giving the drugs in a different order—chemotherapy before immunotherapy or immunotherapy before chemotherapy—changes how well the cancer responds. The trial enrolled 32 adults and measured tumor shrinkage as the main outcome.
