Scientists track asthma patients for 5 years to unlock environmental clues
NCT ID NCT02327897
Summary
This study aims to understand how environmental factors like bacteria and household dust affect asthma over time. Researchers will follow 400 adults with moderate-to-severe asthma for five years, collecting samples like blood, saliva, stool, and dust. The goal is to gather information to form better ideas about what causes asthma symptoms and flare-ups, not to test a new treatment.
