New program aims to close asthma care gap for kids
NCT ID NCT06513832
Summary
This study is testing a personalized support program called an 'asthma navigator' for children aged 5-17 who are hospitalized for severe asthma. The goal is to help families, particularly those facing social and economic challenges, better manage asthma after leaving the hospital. Researchers will track whether this support reduces future emergency visits and improves daily asthma control.
