Could a quick puff test revolutionize asthma care?

NCT ID NCT06425562

Summary

This study aims to find out if a newer, simpler breathing test called impulse oscillometry (IOS) provides useful information for monitoring asthma. Researchers will follow 50 adult asthma patients for 3 to 6 months after their medication is changed. They will compare results from the new test with standard lung function tests and patient questionnaires to see if it offers any advantages.
