Scientists hunt for Asthma's bacterial fingerprint
NCT ID NCT04706988
Summary
This study aims to understand how the community of bacteria and viruses in the nose and throat is connected to different types and severities of asthma in adults. Researchers will collect swabs from 140 adults with asthma and track their health over two years. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day lead to new ways to prevent or better treat asthma by targeting these microbes.
