New asthma inhaler propellant tested for safety
NCT ID NCT05850494
Summary
This study tested whether a new propellant (HFO) in asthma inhalers causes breathing problems compared to the current propellant (HFA). Researchers enrolled 52 adults with well-controlled asthma who tried both propellants in a single dose. They measured lung function immediately after use to see if the new propellant caused any temporary airway tightening.
