Do common asthma inhalers secretly strain your heart? study investigates
NCT ID NCT06027606
Summary
This study aimed to understand if using common asthma inhalers for a month could affect heart and blood vessel health in young, healthy adults. Researchers compared two inhalers (Ventolin and Symbicort) against a placebo dummy inhaler. They measured blood vessel function and heart activity in 81 participants before and after a 4-week period of regular inhaler use.
