First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether extra support from an asthma navigator can help children aged 4 to 12 avoid another hospital stay after being treated for an asthma attack. About 340 families will take part, with half getting the usual care and half also getting a navigator to help manage asthma at home. The goal is to reduce asthma-related hospital readmissions and emergency visits over a year.
