Summary

This study looked at what causes sudden, severe asthma attacks in adults aged 18 to 75. Researchers measured mucus thickness in patients having an asthma attack to better understand the disease and how inhaled steroids help. The goal was to find new ways to treat asthma, but the study was ended early.
