First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will test whether a brief educational session led by a nurse can help children aged 6-17 with asthma better manage their condition and use their inhaler correctly. The session covers understanding treatment, distinguishing between maintenance and rescue medications, and proper inhaler technique. Researchers will compare asthma management before and after the session in the same group of 428 children.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a simple educational session improves how children manage their asthma and use inhalers correctly.
