First human test of potential new asthma treatment
NCT ID NCT06795906
Summary
This early-stage study tested the safety and how the body processes a new inhaled drug called AZD8630 in adults with moderate-to-severe asthma. Twenty-four participants who were already using standard asthma inhalers took either the new drug or a placebo once daily for two weeks. The main goal was to check for side effects and measure drug levels in the blood, not to see how well it treats asthma symptoms.
