9-Minute clinic chat aims to ease asthma burden in black communities

Summary
This study is testing a brief, one-time conversation tool called BREATHE, designed to be used during regular doctor visits. It aims to help Black adults with uncontrolled asthma work better with their doctors to manage their condition. The research will see if this 9-minute shared decision-making approach improves asthma control, medication use, and quality of life for 400 participants at community health centers.
