First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study compares two proven asthma management strategies—PARTICS and MART—to see which works better at preventing severe asthma attacks. About 4,100 adults with moderate-to-severe asthma who are at risk for flare-ups will be randomly assigned to one of the two approaches and followed for 16 months. The goal is to find the most effective way to reduce hospitalizations and steroid use.
