Doctor alerts could boost aspirin use to prevent dangerous pregnancy complication
NCT ID NCT07614893
First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether telling doctors when a pregnant person is at high risk for preeclampsia can increase the use of low-dose aspirin, which is known to help prevent the condition. About 1,000 pregnant individuals at elevated risk will take part, and their doctors will either receive an alert or continue usual care. The goal is to see if the alert leads to more aspirin prescriptions and better prevention of preeclampsia.
