Common aspirin may block postpartum breast cancer risk

Summary
This study is testing whether taking a daily low-dose aspirin can reduce inflammation in breast tissue, which might help prevent breast cancer in women who have recently had a baby. It involves 100 women under age 45 who have given birth within the last 10 years and need a breast biopsy for a non-cancerous concern. Researchers will measure changes in specific inflammation markers in blood and tissue before and after taking aspirin for about 90 days.
