Common aspirin pill may hold key to stopping colon Cancer's return

Summary

This study is testing if taking a daily low-dose aspirin pill can prevent colon cancer from returning after surgery. It will involve 264 patients whose cancer has a specific genetic change (PI3K mutation). Participants will be randomly assigned to take either aspirin or a placebo (sugar pill) for several years to see which group has fewer cancer recurrences.
