Can a daily aspirin stop colon cancer before it starts?

NCT ID NCT05056896

Summary

This study is testing whether taking a daily low-dose aspirin pill can help prevent colorectal cancer in people who have had precancerous polyps removed. About 160 participants will take either aspirin or a placebo pill daily for a set period while researchers analyze blood, urine, and tissue samples to understand how aspirin might work. The goal is to learn if aspirin changes specific biological markers linked to cancer risk and who might benefit most from this prevention strategy.
