First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why low-dose aspirin does not always prevent preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy condition that causes high blood pressure. Researchers will look at genetic, laboratory, and clinical factors in 130 women who had preeclampsia before and took aspirin in a later pregnancy. The goal is to find out why aspirin works for some but not others, which could lead to better prevention strategies.
