Scientists test Aspirin's hidden effects on your immune system

NCT ID NCT03869268

Summary

This study aimed to understand how different doses of aspirin, a common heart medication, affect the body's immune system. Researchers gave 72 healthy volunteers various combinations of aspirin and another drug (ticagrelor) for short periods. They then triggered a temporary, mild immune response with a safe injection to measure how the medications changed the body's reaction.
