New asian registry aims to improve cervical cancer radiation treatment

Summary

This study is creating a registry to collect information from hospitals across Asia on how brachytherapy (internal radiation) is used to treat cervical cancer. The goal is to understand current practices, track outcomes, and find ways to improve care for women with this disease. About 1,000 women with stage IB to IVA cervical cancer who are scheduled for radiation and chemotherapy will have their treatment data recorded.
