Summary

This study tests whether giving radiation for breast cancer in only 3 treatments over 1.5 days is safe and works as well as longer schedules. It involves 170 women aged 45-79 with early-stage breast cancer who have had a lumpectomy. The main goal is to check for side effects and cosmetic outcomes up to 5 years after treatment.
