Summary

This study tested whether giving dialysis facilities regular reports on their performance could help reduce racial differences in who gets placed on the kidney transplant waiting list. Over 56,000 patients at about 750 dialysis centers across the U.S. took part. The goal was to see if this simple feedback system could make transplant access more equal.
