First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at how well an artificial pancreas system helps control blood sugar in teenagers with Type 1 Diabetes during puberty. Over two years, 42 teens used either the artificial pancreas or standard care with a continuous glucose monitor. The goal was to see if the system improves long-term blood sugar levels and how the body's insulin needs change.
