New lung implant offers hope for severe emphysema sufferers

Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the IAB 50 Flex, which is a small, flexible implant placed in the airways. It aims to help adults with severe emphysema or COPD breathe more easily by supporting damaged lung tissue. The trial will enroll 20 participants at two hospitals to check if the implant is safe and if it improves their condition.
